why is this blog called 2and2make5?

I take it for granted that all human beings are in fact unique.

Some have expressed it by speaking up against the straight line.
Others do all sorts of weird stuff to feel different.

I simply accept that life is illogical.
This is expressed in the equation 2 + 2 = 5.
It’s a sort of belief. It makes me feel good.

In addition, there’s a Radiohead song with the same title.
I would not go into connecting lyrics with anything much,
this has already been done by other fans.
I like Radiohead sometimes.
Most of the times the depress me, so I turn to pop.

I find pop good for the mind, body and soul. It’s predictable, because it’s simple.
Once it’s beautiful, other times it’s just pop.

For Radiohead-inspired-moments, I go with remixes of Everything in its Right Place or Kid A, disconnected from the lyrics (I have never woken up “sucking a lemon”).
